ABOUT ME
I grew up in a small Pennsylvania town with a library to die for. In middle school—my favorite—I hoped to be THE class clown but ended up as the class nerd.
In college I studied international relations and then worked for a magazine in New York before a career in the financial industry. Afterward, I became a writer for grades 6–8 English language arts and social studies educational material. For fun, I pursued writing fiction that ended up as middle-grade novels. My family, including a spunky dog with attitude, provided much needed inspiration.
Here’s me in sixth grade with a snazzy hairdo.
My sixth-grade homeroom was in the school library behind the bay window—lucky me.
A girl with a dream—throw it again!
